There are many, many awful or offal songs to choose from for this challenge. These come to mind:
"Good Directions," by Billy Currington
(I had never seen Billy before searching for this on youtube. Billy is kinda cute. You know, the longer I see Billy, the more I think that surely he can be forgiven for ONE BAD SONG. I wonder how I can get a'hold of him....)
Here is another bad song, this time from the Zac Brown Band. It's called, "Chicken fry."
I like the music behind the following song, but the second verse contains the immortal words, "You burn me up like a chicken in a barbecue." (Have you noticed that a lot of bad songs contain food metaphors?) Anyway, this is Carlene Carter (June's daughter from before she married Johnny Cash) performing, "I fell in love." A friend and I would say the BBQ line to each other in high school.
Lest we focus too much on country, here are some other worst songs. I like the "I would walk..." song OK and maybe one or two others, but many are bad...
And, finally, a song from my youth. It is so bad, it is almost good. If I should ever marry, I hope to incorporate this in the ceremony:
Me so horny....
