Out it emerges;
Scratching, sliding,
And crawling.
Scraping off the Teflon,
And defying the indefinable odds.
From the Darkness
To the light,
It stretches
And regains the brightness.
The past is the past
And is better left there
For the naysayers to
Ponder the demons of doom.
The future is now;
Embrace it, feel it.
It is what it is;
And cannot be changed.
Look ahead
To the good of the future
And forget the misery of the past.
Chrysalis is the beginning of change,
Not the end.
You have to believe.
