My mom's gift to me!
Happy M's Day! Ha
Well, if those are my only choices...

HAPPY FIBROIDS!!!
hi jem!! its true!! :-)

yeah, phyllis - happy fibroids!!
Hemorrhoids? Say it ain't so?
scanner! my best laugh of the day! not yet, not yet!

:-)
Dunno what they are, Daisyjane, but if fibroids are doing you good then I'm all for them. Sorry for the worry, tho. But it's...history!!!
Hurray for Fibroids!
Oddly enough, I've never imagined myself saying that.
I had a colonoscopy last Thursday and the doc said I had a "redundant" colon, meaning it was longer than normal. Hooray!
MM, me either. I've got 'em and it ain't fun a'tall. But hey, Janie is happy. Margaritas all around!
YAY!!!! Happy Fibroid Day indeed!!! (Me and wifey keep hers in a jar, we couldn't have kids but Fibroids are just as good. We named one Charles and the other Frankie. And the one, we thought was a girl so we named her Susie!!! What? :D)
I did not have fibroids. But I was similarly "happy" to discover that endometriosis can do something similar. Two sisters and a grandmother got ovarian cancer and my unexplained bleeding a decade ago was scary, to put it mildly. I am sorry you have been going through this. Now when I feel the internal twisting reaction to the full moon, I thank god and reach for the PremSyn, an OTC that really works to alleviate female trouble.

I am glad you have a treatable option!

Best fibroids to you!

(those would be the little ones that are bothersome but controllable and maybe able to be laser surgeried off without big cuts.)

I know we may not be friends, and that trusting me would be a mitsvah, but I sincerely wish you well, good luck, and good health. Happy Mother's Day!
Fibroid inspired poetry is a first for me, but I'll go with it. Yay!
Dunno about fibroids being good news.

I had to get the crib taken outta me over them blood dispensers.

But they left in the play pen.
hi everybody! i HOPE this comment sticks this time - my computer keeps booting me off when i am 90% done with it.

mattie - all i can tell you is - do NOT look them up on wikipedia! cause - ewwwwww, man! gnarly! BUT - they do NOT kill a person! so, awesome!

muse - i never thought i would either, but i just kept thinking, after the doctor said on the phone, practically bored, "a couple fibroids," i couldnt help thinking how i would feel if instead she said, "can you come in tomorrow at 11?" so, compared to that, fibroids are a concert in the park!

erica - you have a value added colon!! :-)
phyllis - i, tackily, prefer a sweet strawberry daiquiri, WITH whipped cream, please.

tink - Fibroids in a Jar sounds like the name of a punk band!

eprid - a very nice surprise to see you in these parts. and i am glad someone here knows what a relief this can feel like. ovarian cancer is just about the scariest - i told the doctor, "and i want you to test for that first, cause they always leave it for last and by then its fatal!" but she didnt listen, but i guess thats okay in this case. i will check out premsyn, bc m an oh man, perimenopause is the pits! happy mother's day to you, too!

jl - laughing - thank you!

mission - "took the crib and left the playpen." my new favorite phrase, and i am going to use it in the doctor's office when we discuss treatment!
daisy, I might start selling part of it if I fall into further debt. How much do you think I'd get for a foot of colon? Not as much as a kidney, but nevertheless . . .
laughing, erica - i think it should cost at LEAST as much as a fine upholstery fabric, like so:

I'm with you, dj.
