So I have to confess to being old to writing and new to blogging.   Though I've read blogs for years and come from the technology industry, I've made only tentative forays into my own blogs.  I began "Beatniks" as a way of disciplining myself to write each day and have some fun with topics I enjoy.

During my morning browse today I was reading the "most read" posts on the OS home page and got to thinking - how does that happen?  What I noticed was that most of the popular posts had clever titles, usually twisted, ironic or sexual. 

 Thus today's morning post is entitled "Drunk, Naked and on Fire" to test the theory, and I threw in some clever tags to augment the effort.  This experiment could continue every day, with the goal of achieving maximum readership.  Tomorrow's topic, "I Always Crave a Smoke After Sex Outside My Species."
