I think the real incivility in American political culture is the attempt to blame every crazy killer on your political opponents, usually on Palin or the tea parties.

Which is totally wrong, especially since the Wichita BTK serial killer was a government bureaucrat and John Wayne Gacy was a Rosalyn Carter groupie and a Democratic Party precinct captain.
