Cancer Update

Rate: 6 Flag

Went to radiadiont oncologist for CT  last week and he said I'm right where I should be. Waiting for van to take me to urologist any moment. I hope to hear the same thing there. In any even, I will receive 90 day Lupron injection and prescription foe Casodex.

Still have side effects of meds; hot flashes, nausea, inability to concentrate, mood swings, headaches, anema, etc. These are not 'maybe' side effects. These are 'you're gonna get them' ones. I'll leave out some of the more male-sensitive side effects.

Taking PC to office, and hope to share some thoughts about all this.

Those are wretched side effects, but I'm glad your results have been good so far. My fingers are crossed for you.

As a seven year survivor I'm hear to tell you to stay strong!! And good luck.
Those side effects sound terrible, but I know they're for a greater good. The world would be a much duller place without someone like you. Good luck and I'm glad to hear the news about the results so far. Sending positive vibes your way.
Be good to yourself, pamper and rest.

Stay strong, Bob, sounds like you're making great progress in the fight, and please don't tell us about the male-sensitive side effects.
Guess who dropped his PC getting out of the van!? I am now banished to the far abyss of my flat, with a corner view ofthe air conditioner and, well, a wall. It's actually a good machine, and holds many fond mammories.

Lin: Thanks so much!
Roger: Congratulations! It's so good to hear a positive story...and there are so many of us helping each other heal. I never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd find so much support.
I have been easy on myself, and accepting. I'm making mature decisions these days , and finding parts of me I never knew I had.
Resting is fun! Sleeping through blizzards is not only fun, it should be mandatoy.
Thinking healing thoughts and sending them your way...May 2011 be the year you beat this thing for good!
My fingers are crossed as well.Blessings.
