Filling The Eye Of The Needle

Thread marries needle
when it catches the eye
and darn, if they don’t
bring one to stitches.

Point being
someone has to lead
and the match
produces healing
as they move on together.

It’s the fabric
of their unity
which becomes the basis
of their being one.

Such is a mending sort of life.
