Bio
Some may claim I'm in the throes of a midlife crisis. If so, I intend to make the best of it. Plus, being in middle life means I'm heading for a life span somewhere in the range of a century and a half. Cool beans. Meanwhile, the muse whispers, teases, convinces me that I may actually have something to say. Do I? You decide. ************************************* As promised in a recent posting, I have finally modified my avatar. Arts Afire and an Open Call to all

Rate: 1 Flag

As I've mentioned before, I've been doing periodic work on a website for a local group known as the Finger Lakes Literary Guild.  In the process of updating the calendar of events, I noticed the mention to the US National Park Service.  They are running a series of events called Arts Afire.

Our group's connection involves events in conjunction with the Seneca Falls National Women's Museum.  It also is part of the celebration for Women's History Month.

If you happen to be in the Finger Lakes area this month, be sure to check things out.

Now, for the Open Call portion.

I challenge you, if you are so inclined, to offer OS readers a report on what kinds of things are happening in your area in relation to either Arts Afire or Women's History Month.  Provide a link or address in your comments below taking us to your post on the subject(s).

I'll start working on your open call. Thanks for the invitation.
PS I'll do a report on the Williamson Lectureship for you.
Miguela: Thanks for both comments. I look forward to seeing the results.
