Some decent progress today. Woot! I'm almost 1/75th done with my first draft. I also did some imagineering today (which essentially means that I hop in the shower and stare off into space until the water gets cold). I have a lot better idea as to the "look" of my world now. I think I also have a rough idea for the climax scene at the end. It's great to know where you're going after all.
I have the title and three characters so far, with several more characters planned. If anyone is interested in specifics just ask me and I'll put details here and there - otherwise I'll just fly over it.
Here's a fun fact for writing: 500 words is the average length of a page, making a novel an average of 150 pages.
Alright, I'm glad I made progress because my wife has given me a writing assignment and I'll likely not get much further today. In fact, I have several writing assignments apart from my novel that are starting to creep up on me. I'll try and keep up the steady progress.
Wish me luck while I . . . Get Writing!
