Punk show - photos!

Wednesday night last I found myself at The Knitting Factory in Hollyweird, CA, invited there by an old friend to shoot a show with her.

The line up was: The Black Widows, The Pack A.D., and Nomeansno. All three bands were amazing, but TPA and No stole the show.

In lieu of words, i.e., "real" content, I'll leave you with some photos of each band, and some audience.

(How so much sound can come out of two instruments is beyond me. And? The singer sounds similar to Janis Joplin, if Janis did rock/punk. Awesome.)

wow, girl, you can shoot! i know i'd hate the music, but, shit, these are outstanding photos. they totally capture the excitement of the night. i saw Janis in concert -- yes, virginia, i am that old. and jimi hendrix, 3 times. thank you for this, love. love love lvoe and gratitude
