Psalm 16
The world spends so much time
convincing us
to change our bodies.
Consider what's inside
this vessel of flesh:
A precious Gem.
The Glory of the Lord
fell down on Solomon's temple,*
that same splendor resides in us.
In our soul the Lord finds
His delight.**
Your diamond has facets like the many mansions
in Our Father's House.***
Consider the paradise that
makes it's home in you!
Let it be set on fire
with the Glory of God!
Consider Jesus Illuminated
on the mountain top.****
Are we not called to that same visitation?
The inhabitance of the Holy Spirit
shining in all it's Brilliance?
I ask you, wouldn't You rather serve
this Our God who knows your worth?*****
Believe it, You are worthy!
come, accept the
the beauty within you,
for you are a jewel to behold!
*2 Chronicles 7: 1.When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.2.And the priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord's house.3.When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying: "For He is good, For His mercy endures forever."
**Proverbs 8: 23.I have been established from everlasting, From the beginning, before there was ever an earth.24.When there were no depths I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water.25.Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills, I was brought forth;26.While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, Or the primeval dust of the world.27.When He prepared the heavens, I was there, When He drew a circle on the face of the deep,28.When He established the clouds above, When He strengthened the fountains of the deep,29.When He assigned to the sea its limit, So that the waters would not transgress His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth,30.Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; And I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him,31.Rejoicing in His inhabited world, And my delight was with the sons of men.32."Now therefore, listen to me, my children, For blessed are those who keep my ways.
***John 14: 1."Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.2.In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.4.And where I go you know, and the way you know."5.Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?"6. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
****Luke 28: 26.For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father's, and of the holy angels.27."But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God."28.Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.29.As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.30.And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah,31.who appeared in glory and spoke of His decease which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.32.But Peter and those with him were heavy with sleep; and when they were fully awake, they saw His glory and the two men who stood with Him.33.Then it happened, as they were parting from Him, that Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah"--not knowing what he said.34.While he was saying this, a cloud came and overshadowed them; and they were fearful as they entered the cloud.35.And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!"
*****Joshua 24: 15.And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
