Psalm 2

Make me an instrument
that I may flow with Your orchestra
that sings to the winds that prosper
My God the Creator
make me a producer of wealth
in mind, body, soul and spirit
Fill my earthly needs
like the widow who never ran out of oil and flour*
I come to you, my God
on bended knee
I repent for lack of discipline
Let me not succumb to the vain promises
of the world
investing in frivolous things
Rather, may I invest my heart
with the possibilities in heaven
Be my accountant oh Lord
Help me to see you in every place I go
I am fat from feeding on garbage
Help me only to hunger for You
I repent for lack of gratitude
I praise you in hindsight
Please forgive my oh lord
for You have always taken care of me
Open my eyes, open my heart
help me to dig deep
to love You more
For I know in the stillness of this sorrow
Love is there
ever knocking to be let in
come in, my Beloved
Come in
and dine with me
*1 Kings 12.So she said, "As the Lord your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die."13.And Elijah said to her, "Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son.14.For thus says the Lord God of Israel: 'The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.' "15.So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days.16.The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah.
