Bio
This blog is about the journey from here to there. Early posts have devotional poetry and prose with scripture included. Many deal with the difficulty of having people in my life who are living with cancer and have died from cancer. Now I'm focusing on going back to college in my 50's and discovering a new path to direct my art--which is art therapy. _________________________________________ All of the artwork I created unless otherwise noted. If you'd like to buy one of my paintings or contact me to say oh, give me a million dollars to help me in my artistic endeavors : acreator3@gmail.com. See my art and purchase prints here: www.anne-cutri.artistwebsites.com __________________________________________ The scriptures are usually taken from the New Revised Standard w/ apocrypha or the New King James.

Oh Lord, my Lord
Your Son has through Your Spirit
graced miracles upon us
Healing the sick even raising the dead*
You are there in the large things
and the small things
Be my husband oh Lord
for I am alone
Behind me, is my child
on the sides of me are distressed ones
I am the axle
My parents and siblings surrounding
are the spokes of my wheel
Though they and generations do not know you
I carry them in the cart above the wheel
I feel them pressing down on me
Lighten my load Father
May your Son be my yoke mate
With you leading us
Free me from the burdens
that are not mine to carry
So that there may be more of me
to give to You.
*38.Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39.Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."40.Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"41.Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42.And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me."43.Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!"44.And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go."

Anne, this is lovely! A beautiful psalm! I very much like the idea of a daily psalm. I know during my "single mother" days, prayer was a constant because much of the time you're not sure you're going to make it.
Thank you Suzie! To do one everyday will be a challenge!
Lovely and inspiring--but remember that everybody else has to carry some of their own load too!
Thank you AtHome, that's hard to remember sometimes when you love someone we have a tendency of taking some of the burden!
Hi, Anne, I misunderstood. I thought you would be praying the Psalms from the Bible. This is delightful and will sometimes be somber, sometimes joy filled, and always a significant effort. May it yield many blessings to both you and your readers.
Monte, this is a challenge that I feel God put before me, it's a bit overwhelming and I pray I will be equal to the task!
I've gone backwards now and I'm reading up. This is a beautiful series. i'm enjoying it and I'm very very touched by it. And the art is perfect!
Thank you so much Foolish Monkey, I'm so blessed you're touched!
