I spent the weekend down on Long Island in the Hamptons when I spotted this unlikely friendship. Who would expect a stray goose to hang with the horses ? it's funny and it's marvelous that these two creatures seem to trust one another. How could they not ? So I stuck around to see just what would come of this gathering and a few minutes there you have it!

There is something wonderfully tranquil and calming about these images. Not so much a "lamb lies down with the lions" feel as it is simply a "live and let live" thing... Lovely.
