Bio
I am an artist, writer, photographer and dancer. I studied art and film as an undergrad at Berkeley, Journalism and Film at B.U. Outstanding graduate student, full scholarships through studies. My parents were an acting teacher with the actors studio in NY and a dancer with the first Balanchine company. I had tremendous exposure to the arts from the time I was a tot. Wrote and read at a very early age. Poetry is also a hobby as are children's books I illustrate and children's rhyming poetry. I worked as a writer at the Sunpost newspaper in Miami Beach for 3 years doing 2nd front page profiles of people in the arts and critiques on art, film, dance, and music. I photographed live music in the club scene and I also shoot a lot of different photographs, which I have also done professionally. I also worked at a post production editing house for 35 mm. film. I now paint glass, do collage, and write. I practice yoga and am knowledgeable about nutrition and health.

Poem for the Earth

Rate: 8 Flag

IMG_0661Earth day

Worth way

more than ever

before

matters score

so large

on the horizon

I am among

palm trees and

birds

Don’t have the words

to describe

the sea

and sand

the fertile land

around

that sounds

so rich

and boldly

proud

I am just a dot

a tot

a tit

a tat

of matter

and we would

not walk or breathe

if there were no oxygen

We are moving towards

destruction

too much construction

pollution

no solution

sought hard enough

yet

So we hope

and pray

that today

more people act out

speak and shout

organize and demonstrate

So none of us

have this hate

of nature

Let’s put fear

in this here country

which has been torn

assundry

with anger

and strife

with squeezing out

life

while stabbing with knife

the poor

and looting

the store

of energy

do not let them cut down

our rain forests

destroy our trees’

For we should be

on our knees

begging PLEASE

Forgive us!

I hope and believe

that we begin to grieve

mother

God

Glory

and

story

BE HERE NOW!

Breathe and bow

Love and how

plant and grow

so you know

dirt and earth

Rebirth

Salute a tree today

love a flower

kiss a dog, a friend

a lover

it’s the trend

Love is in the air.
