Good times tend to cease but awkward moments never seem to.
My graduation party was all right - I mean, it's a graduation party. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, but when relatives I never see showed up, I felt a little awkward. But my friends showed up and things were better. Then my friend showed up with his gay friend and things got a bit more interesting... since he's more interesting than we who are already interesting. And apparently my sister told my mom that I have a "huge crush on him" ... I guess it's better than her telling Mom about he who lives in Switzerland but, um... no.
After my party, we went to a few others and then went to a park. Teenagers acting like three year olds is pretty entertaining, I must say. Gotta make the most of these days. (:
Then Haley's boyfriend's [step] mom decided to be a bitch, as usual and after letting Haley and his mom talk things out, we decided to go on a McDonald's run. Chocolate shake and fries... and bath salt parodies: "I guess you'd say what can make me feel this way? Bath salts! Talkin' 'bout baaath saaalts!" "You didn't have to eeeeeat my face!" "Hey I just met you and this is crazy but I'm on bath salts and your face looks tasty."
Haley and Ellie also decided to talk about Eric and I ... and the things said will never be repeated. (Mostly because I don't remember half of them and what I do remember ... well ... just no.)
Then today, I asked my mom if she knew that we were going out for Father's Day and she said, "No. I love how no one ever tells me anything." and said something about me moving with my dad and I didn't tell her so it was very awkward and I had nothing to say to that. Then she hugged me and got teary and said "It's not you" ... and I don't do well in situations like that. I feel awkward. Which is why I don't cry in front of people. She's also saying she's going to leave my step dad because last night...
he didn't get home until 3 am (and Ellie and I must've been OUT because that was only two hours after we fell asleep) and was drunk and apparently smoking pot (again). This morning when Ellie and I went to put some stuff in her car, we found beer and pizza on her trunk. Clearly he partied a little too hard.
And now my only decision is if I want to get a job for a month. Is it really worth it? There's an opening where my step dad works, just a block or so away, but it's only for a month... I don't know if they'd even hire me, but they apparently need the help. I dunno. Opinions??
